Did you know that the jockstrap recently had a birthday? 150 years old! The ultimate daddy. While the history of the jockstrap is fun and fascinating—originally designed for bicyclists (or bicycle jockeys) to protect their bits while cycling over cobblestones—the past century and a half has shown that the true beauty of the jockstrap lies in its evolution. It’s a history we’re happy to be a part of, and it’s also where our concept of “athlingerie” comes in.

Let’s start with a math equation. It’ll be a fun one, promise.

So, the jockstrap can protect men’s packages and give it an extra oomph. It’s for men playing sports or playing with others. That’s fine, but it’s also pretty masculine—I mean, you can practically smell that last sentence. What if there was a jockstrap that felt a bit more demure, more playful, more enticingly sensual?
